Eat the Foods You Like

Perhaps the last fronteir in dieting is the mind. Once the mind breaks, nothing can be done. You will eat crap and a lot of it. We don’t have the luxury of chaining ourselves up and starving ourselves while having our personal chef only feed us food we should be eating. What can we do? Eat the foods you like to eat. If you don’t do that, you will be mentally depriving yourself and getting closer to a breaking point. There a couple of options that you could use. One option is a so called “cheat meal” where you can have any meal you want during the week. The other option is to eat when you psychologically need to, but keeping it under control by having a set amount and sticking to it. I think these two options are not only healthy for your body and mind, but they are great for the diet long-term because it means you are more likely to stick with it.
